We are a branding firm, not a legal firm, but would like to file trademark registration applications on behalf of our clients. Can we do that?

We are using this name since 1949. We run over 30 instititue on name PRAVARA and this name is having huge market potential for us. and we think that another company /college could make profits from using our name , hence we need protection from a patent. IS it possible to patent the name?
