Patent or Trademark which one for a logo ?

Hello,
I already have a legal trademark and patent with the USPTO Mane Goal with my Polo Girl as my logo. I would like to now Patent a new logo but its still called Mane Goal and instead of the Polo Girl (which she looks exactly the same ) the girl will be wearing a golf outfit instead of the polo outfit. Do I have to parent it all over again and if so is their a space where I click the box saying no color, meaning, I heard if I patent the golf girl in full color is it true I can only use those colors she is wearing and no other colors on her golf outfit? Would this being considered a patent or trademark? My company name which I already have legal with USPTO Mane Goal ,it just my new logo I need legal.

Does anyone know the state of the law as it applies in the google adwords context and trademark? It has fair use implilcations. Is the litigation still pending? Or can anyone provide a link?

am in the process of starting a clothing line. For my scenario i will use Cheese and Ham as the company name and CAH as the logo.
Lets say i have trademarked Cheese and Ham, and i want to use it on a t-shirt. Do i have to now trademark specific designs i want to use incorporating the words Cheese and Ham, or does simply having Cheese and Ham in the design on the shirt keep it protected?
